1. What's a low power LED? How to distinguish between a low power LED and a high power LED?
If the power of each chip is > 0.5W and its working current is > 100mA, the light-emitting diode is called a high power LED. Vice versa, if the power of each chip is < 0.5W(usually ≤0.5W) and its working current is ≦ 100mA, the light-emitting diode is called a low power LED. The chip power of Sunyeah LED lights is only 0.06W, and its working current is just 20mA.

2. What's a high power LED light and a low power LED light?
A high power LED light refers to a light which is made from high power LEDs (the power of each LED is > 0.5W). Vice versa, a low power LED light is a light which is made from low power LEDs (the power of each LED is < 0.5W).

3. Why choose low power LED to make outdoor lighting?
Low power LEDs have been applied in various fields for many years. They are highly reliable, and their heat management problems are almost solved. While high power LEDs are newly-developed LED products, whose problems concerning reliability and heat management are still unsolved. So using low power LEDs as the light source of street lights can solve problems previously connected with reliability and heat management. Meanwhile, low power LEDs have a higher luminous efficacy than high power LEDs. Under the same illumination conditions, low power LED street light uses more LEDs than high power LED street light, so we can provide a scientific light distribution design for light path of each LED, thus making better use of LED lighting.

4. Why should LED outdoor lights be provided with lightning protection?
LED outdoor lights (whether high power LED lights or low power LED lights) are designed for uses in harsh outdoor environments, so they are more likely to be struck by lightning. LED street lights have many electronic components and chips (which have weak lightning-resistance capacity), so additional lightning protections are necessary.

5. Does high-pressure sodium lamp need lightning protection?
A high-pressure sodium lamp is of simple structure. It has no high-precision electronic components, chips or other components that are sensitive to lightning. And its blasts and high pressure sodium bulb have a strong lightning-resistance capacity. Therefore, a high-pressure sodium lamp needs no additional lightning protection.

6. What's the advantage of Sunyeah low power LED lights?
Adopting patented honeycomb light distribution technology, our low power LED lights provide benefits such as higher energy efficiency, longer lifespan, better reliability, and so on. Its heat management problems such as heat emission and conduction have been solved. Utilizing the latest lightning protection technology, our low power LED lights can be used in harsh weather conditions, such as lightning, typhoon, humidity, drought, and so on.
What’s more, the installation height of our low power LED light can reach to 30M, while high power LED just 15M. All of these depend on our unique technology.

7. How much energy could Sunyeah low power LED lights save?
Sunyeah low power LED lights use 70% less energy than common high-pressure sodium lamps, 90% less energy than conventional incandescent lamps, and 20% less energy than common high power LED street lights.

8. Does the housing color of LED streetlight can be changed?
Now, the housing color of LED streetlight is available with blue and grey. We do can change the housing color as the customers’ wish with a quantity base.

9. Are input voltage of Sunyeah LED lights are limited to AC 100V-240V?
No, The range of input voltage depend on the LED driver we used. So we can apply various LED driver to change the input voltage. Anyway, We will try our best to satisfy our customers’ demand.

10. What about comparing Sunyeah low power LED street lights to other street lights?
